Bird House

I might as well make up for those days I didn't post and do a twofer today! I finished revamping the bird house and it's outside waiting for Mr. Wren to appear. It replaced a blue bird house that now needs to be revamped, too. I painted the blue bird house in 2003 and it has now worn away most of the paint. So it's next in line; maybe. Might be faster and less work just to work on a new house waiting to be done so I don't have to the dreaded sanding and stuff. I'm a stickler about prep work but I hate doing it.
These aren't great pictures of the bird house but good enough. I decided not to take time to paint and mainly used stamps and just filled in with color. Not a major piece of work, but it was fun. I'm sure the birds won't notice the mistakes.

Wow - this is breathtakingly beautiful. Your birds will be delighted with their Des Res, I'm sure.

Your birdhouse is really pretty, done so nice, and will look great in the garden. I like the whole thing and of course that roof is really something and it will show a lot in the garden.
I like the shape of it also, the house I mean it reminds me of the houses we see in art.

I bet people do stop and look at the totums, and I can't believe they withstand the weather so well. You must be somewaht protected, I think I told you we have a wind tunnel in the yard it seems. I am even working toward shorter plants becaue tieing them up takes so much time. However I like delphinium, but they have shorter ones now also. I have forgotten so check if they are alive. I like that blue one also. It is fun to enlarge and see if I recognize any of the pieces and I do.
I did in your yesterday post also with the new glass.

Well you have been busy it seems, and spring does that, and like you say, the energy to take care of a garden again.

Oh my gosh you're good! I don't think you realize just how talented you are young lady :)) There's no way I'd put something that gorgeous out in the elements!
